Egyptian Delegation Visits XGY
From November 9 to 16, 2024, a delegation led by General Mukhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Dr. Baha El Din Zaidan, Minister of the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority (UPA), visited Xinguanyi Company.

Mr. Mohamed Raslan, Consul General of Egypt in Shanghai, personally greeted the delegation at the airport and took a group photo with them.

Founded in 1975 by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) is dedicated to overseeing the collective development of the Arab defense industry. It currently employs approximately 16,000 people and operates 12 factories, along with institutions such as the Arab Institute for Advanced Technology.
The Unified Procurement Authority (UPA) is an Egyptian government agency responsible for procuring a wide range of products and services required for national defense, including military equipment, military supplies, and various large-scale civilian equipment. As the head of this important government department, Minister Zaidan plays a pivotal role in the procurement of military and defense-related equipment and services in Egypt.
During the visit, the Egyptian delegation toured Xinguanyi's production workshops and R&D center, focusing on the innovative technologies and production processes of the latest generation of zero liquid helium MRI systems independently developed and manufactured by Xinguanyi. They gained a detailed understanding of the application of Xinguanyi's proprietary 100% liquid helium-free technology in high-field medical MRI systems, including the world's first rotatable zero liquid helium superconducting MRI system, mobile zero liquid helium MRI surgical intervention system, and 3.0T zero liquid helium head MRI system, all independently developed by Xinguanyi.
The Egyptian guests expressed strong interest in Xinguanyi's proprietary R&D capabilities and cutting-edge technologies in the field of MRI equipment.

At the subsequent symposium, the two sides discussed future cooperation plans in Egypt. The Egyptian representatives stated that with the rapid development of the country's healthcare industry, particularly in basic public health and medical investment, Egypt urgently needs to introduce more advanced medical equipment to improve domestic diagnostic capabilities and treatment outcomes. Therefore, the Egyptian government plans to procure high-end medical equipment in the coming years to meet the growing health demands.
Mr. Gao Dajian, Chairman of Xinguanyi, stated that Xinguanyi is highly willing to engage in in-depth cooperation with the Egyptian government in high-end medical equipment, covering technical collaboration, customized R&D, localized production, and after-sales maintenance support. Both sides discussed the possibility of establishing a long-term partnership to jointly promote the rapid development of Egypt's healthcare sector.

After the meeting, the guests visited key clients of Xinguanyi, including Ningbo No.2 People's Hospital, Yuyao People's Hospital, and the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. They experienced firsthand the clinical application of the world's first rotatable zero liquid helium superconducting MRI system, independently developed by Xinguanyi, in medical institutions. They highly praised the important role of these devices and technologies in improving the accuracy of medical diagnosis and safeguarding patient health.
This visit has deepened the cooperative relationship between Xinguanyi and Egypt's AOI and UPA, marking the further advancement of cooperation between Xinguanyi and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of MRI systems and large-scale medical imaging equipment. It has also laid a solid foundation for future technical exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
Xinguanyi looks forward to further collaboration with Egypt's AOI and UPA to provide more advanced and safe MRI systems and other large-scale medical imaging equipment for Egypt's healthcare industry, helping to elevate the country's overall medical standards, and further promoting the upgrading and technological progress of the healthcare industry in Egypt and the Middle East, jointly embracing new development opportunities.
