Magnetic Wave Knife
Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound Therapy (MRgHIFU) is a noninvasive treatment that allows doctors to "see" diseases within the body and pinpoint the location of the disease by scanning it with magnetic resonance imaging devices. The method is guided by magnetic resonance (MRI) device, using high-intensity focused ultrasound to destroy other solid tumors such as uterine fibroids. In HIFU treatment, MRI can continuously monitor the treatment process in real time, so as to achieve the purpose of precision treatment. Similar to focusing solar energy to a point with a magnifying glass, focused ultrasound can focus directly on a small range of tumor lesions, raising its temperature to a certain height to produce thermal ablation (killing cells), and eliminating other tissues through its own circulation. MRI-led HIFU treatment is a green and environmentally friendly treatment.
